Surgeon H St George Standish Hore was severely censured for neglect of duty (two instances), in not going to see patients when asked to. He was warned that a repetition will entail a recommendation for his removal from the service.
In his confidential report for 1892, the General-Officer-Commanding (GOC) remarked: It yet remains to be seen whether he is thoroughly reformed in such respects.
18 May 1893 On Home leave.
4 Aug 1893 Returned from leave.
11 Sep 1894 Resided at the Cottonera Hospital Vittoriosa.
1 Mar 1895 Returned to England.
5 Feb 1899 Promoted Major.
5 Feb 1907 Retired.
6 Aug 1914 Re-employed during the Great War.
