28 Sep 1943 Admitted to No 90 GH with suspected Sandfly fever. He was discharged from hospital on 7 Oct 1943.
14 Nov 1943 Detached for temporary duty with No 90 GH, but rejoined 39 GH on 27 November.
31 Dec 1943 Left 39 GH on posting to 90 GH as a General Duties Medical Officer.
25 Jan 1944 Appointed OC No 2 (Basuto) Section General Hospital and left Malta with them. The hospital was completed to war establishment of British other ranks and African personnel.
