Nov 1937 The King granted Dr Harold Armstrong Crouch, OBE, MC, authority to wear the Order of the Nile, Insignia of the Third Class, conferred upon him by the King of Egypt in recognition of valuable services rendered by him.
1940–1944 Served with the Middle East Force in the Sudan.
18 Feb 1941 Temporary Major RAMC.
1944–1946 Seconded to the Kenya Government.
26 Apr 1946 Retired.
19 Oct 1947 Died at the Private Wing, University College Hospital, London .
