Malta 30 Aug 1811–29 Nov 1811 Hospital Mate Sicily and Malta. Arrived from Ireland and left for Ireland.
13 May 1813 Assistant Surgeon 1st Dragoon Guards.
19 Nov 1830 Promoted Surgeon 87th (The Royal Irish Fusiliers) Regiment vice Abraham Armstrong promoted to Staff. The resultant vacancy in 1st Regiment of Dragoon Guards was filled by assistant surgeon Alexander Smith 44th Regiment on 3 December 1830.
2 Mar 1847 Retired upon half-pay. The vacancy in 87th Foot was filled by Surgeon Robert Dunkin Smyth 14th Light Dragoons.
