11 Dec 1811 Letter from the Army Medical Board to Inspector of Hospitals James Borland at Messina, notifying him of the removal of Purveyor Moss Richard from Sicily to the Staff of the Army in Malta, and of Deputy Purveyor William Frost from Malta to the Sicilian Command, which will relieve Deputy Purveyor Richard Cleave who is requested for the service in Portugal as soon as he can be relieved.1
Malta May 1816 Arrived at Malta.
24 Dec 1816 Service as Purveyor to the Forces terminated. Account transferred to Purveyor Richard Cleave
Malta Mar 1817 Discharged to half-pay.
21 June 1817 Retired.
