1801 Arrived in Malta.
Nov 1802 Embarked for England following the reduction of the army at the end of the French Revolutionary Wars.
25 Dec 1802 Retired to half-pay.
Sep 1803 On duty at Minorca.
1805 Assistant Surgeon 1st/20th (East Devonshire) Regiment.
At Malta with his regiment, but left in 1805 for duty at Minorca.
