1809 Served at Walcheren.
18 June 1815 Served at Waterloo as surgeon 1st/51st Foot. Part of the Fourth Division (Lt Gen Sir Charles Colville), 4th Bde (Col Mitchell). 4th Bde consisted of: 3rd/14th Foot, 2nd/23rd Foot, 1st/51st Foot.
3 Aug 1826 Assistant Surgeon 4th Regiment of Dragoon Guards.
21 Sep 1830 Gazetted Deputy Inspector General but declined his promotion which was cancelled.
14 Feb 1831 On the death of Surgeon Webster, the vacancy in 4th Regiment of Dragoon Guards was filled by Surgeon John Bickerton Flanagan 76th Foot. Assistant Surgeon Peter Smith 60th Foot replaced Surgeon Flanagan as surgeon 76th Regiment on 22 March 1831.
