3 Oct 1799 Hospital Mate. Served in Holland on Sir Ralph Abercrombie's Expeditionary Force.

Malta 20 May 1801 Embarked for Egypt in charge of Ancient Irish Fencibles.
Acted as surgeon to the 2nd Light Battalion on "suspicious duty" at the Lazaretto in Fort Manoel. This was likely to have been plague in suspicious cases coming from Egypt.

Malta 1802 In charge of the Foreign Invalids sent to Tuscany.

Jan 1803 On duty at Leghorn with invalids.

Malta Oct 1803 Hospital Mate.

12 Feb 1804 Left Malta.

10 Mar 1804 Assistant Surgeon 18th (The Royal Irish) Regiment of Foot.

11 July 1805 Assistant Surgeon 6th Dragoons.

16 Feb 1809 Surgeon 90th (Perthshire Volunteers-Light Infantry) Regiment.

13 July 1820 Retired.
