1863–1864 On duty at Aldershot.

16 Aug 1864 Exchanged with Assistant Surgeon John Mackenzie 1st/10th (North Lincolnshire) Regiment of Foot.

1 Apr 1873 Promoted Surgeon Major. Moved from 1st/10th Foot (Singapore) to the Medical Staff at Malacca.

July 1874 Medical Officer 35th Brigade Depôt (Fregantte Fort).

1875–1876 Served at 35th Brigade Depôt.

Malta 5 Aug 1877 Arrived from England.

Malta 5 Feb 1878 Left for Bengal.

1878–1880 On duty at Bengal.

Aug 1880 Moved from Bengal to Dover.

Oct 1881 Moved from Dover to Aldershot.

Malta 27 Jan 1882 Moved from Aldershot to Malta.

Malta 25 Jan 1883 To England on leave.

1 Oct 1883 Returned from leave.

Malta 3 May 1884 Promoted Brigade Surgeon.

Malta 17 Aug 1884 Returned to England.

10 Sept 1884 Retired with the honorary rank of Deputy Surgeon General. Was replaced as Brigade Surgeon by Surgeon Major John Davidge who was promoted to the vacancy.

9 Jan 1904 Died at 9, Coleherne Road Brompton, aged 70 years.
