1807 Served at the Second Battle of Copenhagen, 16 August–15 September 1807, when the British seized the Danish Fleet to prevent it falling into the hands of the French.

1809 Served at Walcheren (30 July–10 Dec 1809).

1809–1814 Wounded while serving in the Peninsular War.

4 July 1811 Surgeon 7th Royal Veteran Battalion.

15 June 1815 Surgeon 5th Royal Veteran Battalion.
