6 Oct 1854 Acting Assistant Surgeon.

Malta 21 Feb 1855 Left for England with 107 invalids and wounded of various corps.

30 Mar 1855 Staff Assistant Surgeon.

10 Aug 1855 Assistant Surgeon 1st/Rifle Brigade.

1 Aug 1856 Supernumerary in the 1st Battalion of the Rifle Brigade. Appointed Staff Assistant Surgeon.

1856–1857 Served in Walmer Kent.

21 May 1858 Exchanged with Assistant Surgeon James McHaffie Cowan 55th (Westmoreland) Regiment of Foot.

24 May 1861 Appointed Staff Assistant Surgeon from the 55th Foot vice Staff Assistant Surgeon John Walters who was placed upon half-pay.

1861–1864 Served in Ceylon.

1865 Served in Dublin.

1866 Served in Dublin and Carrick-on-Suir Co. Tipperary.

23 Mar 1867 Staff Surgeon.

1867 Served in the Bahamas.

15 Feb 1868 Reduced to half-pay.
