24 June 1802 Reduced to half-pay.
17 Mar 1803 Restored to full-pay as surgeon to the Cavalry Depot Maidstone, through exchange.
4 Nov 1813 Deputy Inspector of Hospitals.
25 Nov 1815 Reduced to half-pay. Settled into practice at Windsor, having started his civilian career in the Isle of Wight, which was garrisoned to protect the naval base at Portsmouth.1
1 July 1838 One of thirty four Deputy Inspectors General on half pay. Total Service: 38 years 10 months, Total Full Pay Service: 15 years 5 months.
