1885–1886 Commanded the Station Hospital at Portsmouth.

1885 Served in the Sudan, commanding No 1 Bearer Company in the Suakin Field Force.

28 Mar 1887 Brigade-Surgeon.

1887 Commanded the Station Hospital at Mhow, Madhya Pradesh State, India.

2 May 1888 Retired.
