Malta 1802 On duty with his regiment.

Malta 30 Jan 1803 Left for Gibraltar.

28 Aug 1806 Half-pay.

4 June 1807 Surgeon Recruiting District.

25 Sept 1814 Retired on half-pay.

24 Jan 1844 Died a bachelor, on his estate of Durham, Torryburn, Fife. His two brothers, also doctors, had joined the East India Company.1
