25 June 1826 Surgeon 29th (Worcestershire) Regiment of Foot.
21 Aug 1840 Surgeon 9th Light Dragoons vice Surgeon Anthony Caesar Colclough who retired upon half-pay. The vacancy in 29th Foot was filled by Assistant Surgeon Arthur Wood 3rd Light Dragoons.
23 July 1841 Surgeon 29th (Worcestershire) Regiment of Foot.
14 June 1842 Appointed Surgeon 54th (West Norfolk) Regiment of Foot vice Surgeon Thomas Gordon Stephenson who died at Liverpool on 26 May 1842. The vacancy in 29th Foot was filled by the promotion of Staff Assistant Surgeon John Robert Taylor. In his turn, Gentleman Daniel Cooper was commissioned Assistant Surgeon vice Taylor.
5 Apr 1844 Retired to half-pay.
