Malta July 1800 Arrived from Minorca.

Served in Malta during the blockade of the French and reduction of the island.

Malta 1801 Surgeon 48th (Northamptonshire) Regiment of Foot.

Malta 1802 Surgeon 48th (Northamptonshire) Regiment of Foot.

Malta Aug 1803 Left Malta.

22 Sep 1803 Received his first payment of £90 7s 6d in prize money from the proceeds of the property captured on the island of Malta on 4 September 1800. This was equivalent to that paid out to a captain in the infantry.

1 Aug 1804 Received his second payment of £33 2s 6d in prize money from the proceeds of the property captured on the island of Malta on 4 September 1800.

18 June 1808 Had a son Henry James born at Gibraltar, the first of fourteen children.

21 Aug 1810 Received his third payment £3 2s 2d in prize money from the proceeds of the property captured on the island of Malta on 4 September 1800.

31 Jan 1811 Staff Surgeon.

Served in the Peninsular War.

23 Dec 1811 Received his final share worth £2 3s 3d in prize money from the proceeds of the property captured on the island of Malta on 4 September 1800.

27 May 1825 Deputy Inspector of Hospitals.

18 Aug 1825 Retired to half-pay.
