9 Sept 1914 Lieutenant RAMC Special Reserve.

5 Oct 1914 Mobilised.

5 Apr 1915 Captain RAMC.

May 1915–July 1915 Served in France.

1915–1919 Served in India (invalided).

1 Jan 1917 Captain Permanent Regular Army Commission.

1917 Served at Waziristan.

5 Apr 1918 Captain RAMC.

1921–1922 Served in India, as staff surgeon of Army HQ Simla.

Malta 11 Nov 1924 Arrived from England accompanied by his spouse.

Malta 18 Mar 1925 Left for China.

1925–1929 Served in China as medical officer to the British Legation Guard in Peking.

9 Sept 1926 Major RAMC.

1931–1936 Served in India.

1 Oct 1937 Lieutenant Colonel RAMC.

1937–1939 Commanding Officer Military Hospital Beachley.

1939–1943 Senior Medical Officer Jamaica, and Commanding Officer Military Hospital Jamaica.

1943 Assistant Director of Medical Services HQ North Caribbean Area.

1943–1945 Commanding Officer 110 Military Convalescent Depot.

1 Aug 1944 Acting Colonel RAMC.

27 Feb 1946 Retired. Settled on Deeside.

12 May 1964 Died at his home after a long and painful illness.
