28 July 1886 Surgeon–Captain.

1888–1889 Served in Burma.

On 14 Nov 1885, British troops invaded Burma to safeguard their teak monopolies in Lower Burma. On 1 Jan 1886, they annexed Burma, but resistance to British rule continued till 1889.

28 Sept 1893 Married Frances Mary Elizabeth at Rawalpindi Punjab India.

13 Mar 1896 Arrived from Chatham England.

1897 Officer in medical charge of infantry Valletta.
Resident at 24 Strada Mezzodi Valletta.

18 Sep 1897 Home Sick.

21 Dec 1897 Returned to Malta.

28 July 1898 Major RAMC.

18 Aug 1898 Home Sick.

23 Dec 1898 Returned to Malta.

16 Feb 1899 To Curragh Ireland through exchange.

1899–1902 Served in South Africa. Took part in the operations in the Transvaal, Orange River Colony, and Cape Colony.

28 July 1906 Retired.

1907 Was employed at Great Yarmouth while on the retired list.

15 Feb 1933 Died aged 73 years.
